The team over at Aloha Bridal Connections put together 10 tips that will help you get ready in time for your wedding day!

The Getting Ready Space

Whether it’s a hotel room, a designated room in your house, or an Airbnb make a clear and clean space for getting ready time. Tidy up and rearrange the room as needed to provide as much room and natural light as possible.

Think about setting up some extra chairs and getting extension cords or making outlets accessible for the hair and makeup artists!

Stick to the Timeline

Make one and stick to it!

Seriously, Just do it! Whether you have a planner there to make sure this happens or not you need to stay on track because a setback first thing in the morning will create a snowball effect for the rest of the day.

What to Wear

We have all seen those absolutely adorable pictures on Instagram of bridesmaids in cute matching robes, hair and makeup did, giggling, popping champagne on a bed. Plan ahead and decide if this is something for you and then order you and your girls some robes that match your wedding style!

Food & Drink

Super important- you don’t want anyone getting hangry or feening for their cup of coffee throughout the morning of by the time ceremony rolls around.

The Dress

Take your dress out of the bag! Girl, Just like a glass of wine your dress needs some time to breathe and open up so it’s just right when it’s time for you to put it on. This tip goes for your veil and all the bridesmaid’s dresses as well!

The Tunes

Have a good playlist ready!! This will set the mood in the room and get you pumped up, excited, and ready for your big day.

The Boys

Seriously, don’t worry about the boys. They are probably all sitting in their getting a ready room together watching TV, playing on their phones, and reminiscing on old times… you reminded them enough times yesterday, the day before, and the day before when they needed to be ready by. So, have faith in your soon0to-be husband - they will be ready on time!

The Photos

Think about anything and everything you want to be photographed when your photographer arrives. This includes both what you want to be photographed, who you want to be photographed, and any special moments you may want to be captured by the photographer all your little details, personal items, etc. The Night before to ensure nothing gets missed.

Pack an Emergency Kit

We recommend that every bride have a day-of kit that they either bring or designate someone to bring to the venue. This should include things like scissors, tweezers, mints, Listerine, tape, a pair of sandals, Advil, and any makeup needed for touch-ups.

Breath, Relax and Enjoy

Getting ready time should be fun!! If you follow all the other steps the getting ready process should be a time for you to enjoy yourself. You have put so much hard work into planning and putting together this day and it’s finally here
